Is the infuser really 100% plastic-free?
Yes. Most competitors hide silicone O-rings inside the lid to prevent leaking, which eventually degrade and hold onto bacteria. We completely eliminated the need for plastic or silicone by precision-engineering the threading of our metal components to create a natural, watertight seal.
Why is 316 Stainless Steel better than 304?
While 304 steel is an industry standard, it is vulnerable to micro-pitting when exposed to highly acidic liquids like tea, coffee, or lemon water over long periods. 316 Medical-Grade steel contains molybdenum, providing ultimate resistance to corrosion. How do I clean my Halden Standard infuser?
Because there are no porous plastic parts or silicone rings, cleaning is incredibly simple. While the robust steel is completely dishwasher safe, we recommend hand-washing with warm, soapy water to maintain the exterior finish.
Do you offer a lifetime warranty?
Halden Standard is built for the journey. We stand by our "Buy It For Life" philosophy. If any structural component of your infuser fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it, no questions asked.
